About Me

Adam B. Evans, PhD, is Associate Professor in Sociology of Sport at the Department of Nutrition, Exercise & Sport at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His research focuses upon the qualitative elements of Sport, Exercise and Physical Activity amongst older and marginalised groups, evaluation of sports development programmes in the community, and Qualitative research methods. He is current Editor in Chief of the European Journal for Sport and Society, Associate Editor of the Journal of Aging and Physical Activity, and directs the Sociological Research in Sport and Exercise at his host institution.
