The OCDC – Junior Athletes online course is designed to help young athletes successfully combine elite sport and education by developing a strong and sustainable dual career pathway. It raises awareness of the importance of balancing academic and sporting commitments while providing practical advice on managing training schedules, academic responsibilities, and personal well-being.

“Olympic Committees for Dual Careers (OCDC)” is a European project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, dedicated to promoting dual career opportunities for elite athletes. The project focuses on raising awareness of the importance of combining sport and education, while developing effective support mechanisms that enable athletes to manage both successfully. It also aims to help athletes identify their interests and career aspirations beyond sport, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to enter the labour market after retirement and build a sustainable professional future.
