The GE-FORCE (Gender Equality FORCE) course is an online training programme designed to promote gender equality in sport and support women’s access to leadership positions in the sport sector. Through practical tools, strategic insights and research-based knowledge, this course equips sport organisations and professionals to build more inclusive, diverse and equitable environments.

Course description

The GE-FORCE course aims to empower sport organisations to achieve gender balance in leadership roles. Developed through extensive research and European best practices, this programme provides specialised training in women’s leadership, diversity, and inclusion in sport. Throughout the course, you will learn how to:
  • Develop strategies to promote gender equality in sport organisations
  • Identify and create opportunities for women in leadership roles
  • Implement diversity, inclusion and work–life balance policies
  • Recognise and address discrimination in sport
  • Strengthen key skills such as leadership, networking and strategic planning
  • Use digital media and social platforms to promote equality messages
  • Foster organisational cultures that support female talent and leadership
This asynchronous online course is accessible from anywhere and offers a free certificate, making it an excellent opportunity for professional development in sport and gender equality.
