About Me
Sameer Janmohamed has a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Canada (University of British Columbia) and Master of Sports Administration from Switzerland (International Academy of Sport Science and Technology—AISTS). Previous experience in the Canadian sport system, focusing on the development of young people in sport, physical activity and promotion of well-being. He assisted with the development of sport legacy and sustainability initiatives following the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games such as the community-wide post-Olympic legacy programme and educational programmes for youth. He has been at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) since 2018, taking on a number of roles. More recently at FISU, he has been assisting with various developmental and educational projects and is currently taking the lead on the legacy and sustainability aspects of the overall FISU strategy.
