About Me
PhD in Sports Sciences, MSc in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences Research, MSc in Teaching Training for Secondary Education and MSc in High Performance in Team Sports. Currently, he is working as a Professor
in the Faculty of Education, University of Valladolid (Spain), and he is part of the Sport Performance Lab. Current major research topics include: monitoring training and match loads in team sports, soccer small-sided games- and match-related fatigue, physical fitness performance of professional soccer players, and physical and physiological performances in soccer referees and cerebral palsy soccer players. He has published around 90 scientific studies indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) and is a member of editorial committees and reviewers of Sports Sciences Journals. Additionally, Daniel has worked as a Coach in a Professional Soccer Academy for 10 years.
