Graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, he is an International MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, PDG from IESE, Certificate in Dialogic Coaching from the Francisco de Vitoria University, Master in Management of Sports Organizations from the Spanish Olympic Committee (MEMOS), obtaining two awards for his master’s thesis “Sustainability Strategy of the Spanish Olympic Committee”: Prize Madella MEMOS Edition VIII in Spanish and Olympic Solidarity Impact Award at the 2025 World MEMOS Convention.
He has developed his professional career in the financial sector for 20 years with positions of responsibility in the area of international banking at Banco Santander in Spain, Japan, France and Italy, and in the innovation sector, for 5 years as an innovation consultant for sustainable development models and smart cities with a focus on Latin America.
He joined the Olympic movement in 2011 as CFO of the Madrid 2020 Bid Office, has been Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Olympic Committee from 2014 to 2017 and since June 2017 he has been Director of Marketing, Human Resources and Director of Sustainability of the Spanish Olympic Committee: in this role he has defined and implemented the Sustainability Strategy of Spanish NOC. For 13 years, he has been a visiting professor at the Hasan II University of Casablanca in the Master’s Degree in Banking and Financial Markets. Since 2023, he has been a professor of Ethics and Sustainability and since 2025, a professor of Innovation in the Master of Sports Marketing at ESIC. In addition, it collaborates on an occasional basis with other Spanish and international universities. He has led the ERASMUS+ Project GREEN FLAME as coordinator and participated in other projects as a partner in the OCEAN Project; RED DE TOLERANCIA (RETO)
