Payment Policy
Sport Academy Education & Training SL (Sport Academy) offers paid learning (e.g., course access to certain courses) and products (e.g., certificates) for a fee. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in EUROS (€) and are non-refundable, except as provided in our Refund Policy or as required by law. You are responsible for paying all fees charged by or for Sport Academy and applicable taxes in a timely manner with a payment mechanism associated with the applicable paid Services. Before you pay any fees, you will have an opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged, and, as applicable, any other terms and conditions associated with your purchase (e.g. expiration dates for course entitlements). If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees using other collection mechanisms. Fees may vary based on your location and other factors, and Sport Academy reserves the right to change any fees at any time at its sole discretion. Any change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting through the relevant Services.
PAYMENT METHODS
The purchase process can be done with a debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, through our virtual POS system managed by Redsys. If you pay any fees with a credit card, then Sport Academy may seek pre-authorization of your credit card account prior to your purchase to verify that the credit card is valid and has the necessary funds or credit available to cover your purchase.
The prices applicable to each product are those indicated on the website on the date you place your order, except for typographical errors. The prices listed for each service or product, include the applicable VAT.
Sport Academy reserves the right to make any changes it deems appropriate at any time and without prior notice, and may update features, products, and prices.
When you make a purchase, you agree that you must not use an invalid or unauthorised payment method. If there is an error with your payment method, but you still get access to the content you have signed up for, you agree to pay us the applicable fees within 30 days of receiving notice from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any content for which we have not received payment. If we are unable to process payment using the payment method we have on record for you or if you request a disputed refund of charges made using your payment method and this is granted, we may suspend or cancel your account.
For details on our refund and cancellation policies, please refer to the information below. Please note that our policies may differ between offerings, and payment options may vary. Please also note that we treat violations of our Terms of Use very seriously, and we have no obligation to offer refunds to users who violate these or other Sport Academy policies, even if their requests are made within the designated refund period. Similarly, we have no obligation to offer late refunds to users who do not receive a passing mark in a Content Offering, or who are otherwise unsatisfied with their final grade.
General Refunds
Sport Academy does not offer refunds for payments made for any services or products invoiced directly to companies, governments or groups of students. Except as described in this Refund Policy or as explicitly stated as part of the contracting process for a Service, Sport Academy has no obligation to provide refunds or vouchers for any other Services.

Refunds for Certificates
If you do not earn your completion certificate within 180 days after registering for a MOOC, your registration will expire and you will need to pay to re-enrol for the MOOC in order to complete it and earn your completion certificate.
In most cases, if you pay for a Course Certificate, you can request a refund within 2 weeks (14 days) after your payment. If you pay for a Course Certificate when pre-enrolling for a course that isn’t available yet, your two-week refund period begins on the start date of the course. Once you have earned your Certificate from a Course, you are no longer eligible for a refund, even if you earn your Certificate within the two-week refund period.
Free courses
Free courses are exempt of enrolment fees. However, some of them might have a paid certificate option after completing the course. Once you decide to acquire the paid certificate, a refund will not be issued.
Premium Courses
In most cases, if you pay for an enrolment on a Premium Course, you can request a refund within 2 weeks (14 days) after your payment. If you pay for a Premium Course when pre-enrolling for a course that isn’t available yet, your two-week refund period begins on the start date of the course.
When you pay for a course, your payment will expire 180 days from the payment date, or 180 days from the start date of the course, whichever is later. During this 180-day period, you may attempt the course one or multiple times, depending on the description of the course defined by Sport Academy or the certifier institution(s).
This expiration policy may be different for some courses. Check your course’s information page and your payment confirmation email for any exceptions.
Once you have earned your Certificate from a Premium Course, you are no longer eligible for a refund, even if you earn your Certificate within the two-week refund period. If you do not earn your course certificate within 180 days, your registration will expire and you will need to pay to re-enrol for the course.
Post Graduate
Unless otherwise indicated as part of the sign-up process, you have one year after you enrol a Post-graduate to complete it, or as long as stated in the syllabus of the programme.
Specialisations
Unless otherwise indicated as part of the sign-up process, you have one year after you enrol a Specialisation to complete it, or as long as stated in the syllabus of the programme.
Executive Education
Unless otherwise indicated as part of the sign-up process, you have one year after you enrol an Executive Education to complete it, or as long as stated in the syllabus of the programme.
MBA
Unless otherwise indicated as part of the sign-up process, you have one year after you enrol on an MBA to complete it, or as long as stated in the syllabus of the programme.
Master Programme
Unless otherwise indicated as part of the enrolment process, you have one year after you enrol in a Master to complete it, or as long as stated in the syllabus of the programme.
Learning Path
Learning Paths are clusters of courses that interact in which the learning outcomes are connected to each other, so the courses need to be taken in a certain way and completed before moving to the next one.
Unless otherwise indicated as part of the enrolment process, you have two years after you purchase a Learning Path to complete it in full, or as stated in the description. We don’t offer partial refunds for Learning Paths pre-payments. If you aren’t sure you’ll want to complete the entire Learning Path, we recommend you pay by course.
Promotional Offers
We may from time to time offer special promotional offers or discounts (“Offers”). Offer eligibility is determined by Sport Academy at its sole discretion and we reserve the right to revoke an Offer in the event that we determine you are not eligible. Users with an existing Offer may not be eligible for additional Offers. We may use information such as method of payment or an account email address used with a Sport Academy purchase to determine Offer eligibility. The eligibility requirements and other limitations and conditions will be disclosed when you sign up for the Offer or in other communications made available to you.
European Users Right of Withdrawal
In addition to the refund policies set forth above, if you have a right of withdrawal under the relevant laws in your country including any applicable European Union laws, then:
- You have a right of withdrawal for a period of 14 days before starting the course. You may withdraw your contract with Sport Academy for the Services, without giving any reason, and without incurring any costs other than those provided for in this clause.
- The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day that your contract was concluded. However, you do not have a right of withdrawal a) if the Services have already been fully performed with your prior express consent and with your acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Services have been performed by us or b) if the Services have begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal upon beginning use of the Services.
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, you should inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or by contacting us at support@sportacademy.com . You may use the below model form, but it is not obligatory.

- You may also electronically submit the model form or any other unequivocal statement to us at support@sportacademy.com . You shall have exercised your right of withdrawal within the 14-day withdrawal period if the communication is sent by you before that period has expired. The exercise of the right of withdrawal shall terminate the obligations of the parties to perform the contract. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, any ancillary contracts shall be automatically terminated.
- If you withdraw the contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to rescind this contract in accordance with this clause. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event you do not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
- If you want the Services to begin during the 14-day withdrawal period you should make an express request thereto, where you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you exercise the right of withdrawal before the Services have been fully performed, you shall be liable to pay us reasonable costs, consisting of an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until the time you have informed us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
- The burden of proof of exercising the right of withdrawal in accordance with this clause shall be on you. Except as provided for in this clause, you shall not incur any liability as a consequence of the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
