Helena Verhelle is a safe sport researcher at Thomas More University in Belgium. Her work focusses on the prevalence and prevention of interpersonal violence in sports and on practice-based research on bystander behaviour. She has previously worked on several international projects within the sport context and has experience in developing tools, (online) courses and training regarding safeguarding.
