About Me

Fatou Elise Ba is a research fellow at IRIS, in charge of the Humanitarian and Development Program. She specializes in human rights and advocacy strategies. She works on gender issues, vulnerable populations and minorities. Previously, Fatou Elise Ba worked for several years in International Organizations and NGOs for programs in West and Central Africa and in the Maghreb and Middle East regions. She has managed campaigns to promote human rights and raise awareness among public authorities and communities. Graduated with a master’s degree in development studies and crisis management from the University of Paris 1 Sorbonne, she also holds a certificate in African studies from SciencesPo Bordeaux.
