The DigiSail online course explores the innovative use of gaming and digital platforms in sport promotion, with a particular focus on sailing. It is designed for sailing federations, clubs, and sports organisations seeking to engage younger audiences, increase participation, and break down barriers to access through tools such as the Virtual Regatta platform.




The DigiSail online course provides a practical and forward-thinking approach to using gaming as a tool for sports development and engagement. Inspired by the significant rise in users of the Virtual Regatta platform during the COVID-19 pandemic, the course examines how digital environments can support the growth and visibility of sailing.
