Recognising the powerful influence of athletes as role models, the course prepares participants to take on an active role in supporting vulnerable children.<\/p>\n<p>The programme explores a wide range of topics related to the realities faced by institutionalised children, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>social, emotional, and health challenges<\/strong> associated with institutional care<\/li>\n<li>The impact of these challenges on <strong>physical and mental well-being<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The importance of <strong>healthy lifestyles and positive habits<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The role of <strong>sport and mentorship<\/strong> in promoting inclusion, confidence, and resilience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants will also learn how to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as effective <strong>mentors and positive role models<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Build <strong>trusting and supportive relationships<\/strong> with young people<\/li>\n<li>Promote <strong>healthy behaviours and wellbeing practices<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Apply <strong>good practices and intervention strategies<\/strong> in real-life contexts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course combines awareness-raising with practical guidance, ensuring that athletes are well-prepared to contribute meaningfully to the <strong>4me4all mentorship programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the course, learners will have the skills and understanding needed to support institutionalised children and help improve their <strong>quality of life and long-term development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by the European Union.
